We held our first HYROX Circuit Challenge from Friday, 15th to Sunday, 17th November 2024 at the Peak Club Pop-Up, BIBD Mega Karnival, and we hope you had fun!

What was the HYROX Circuit Challenge?

The HYROX Circuit Challenge was a team challenge made up of some simple movements. Every team member earned rewards after completing the challenge, with the top scorers earning an exclusive gold Team Peak x HYROX badge and more!

Team of 4, AMRAP30
(As Many Reps As Possible in 30 mins)

1-The Circuit
200m Run
20 Alternating Front Lunges
20 Wall Balls (4KG/6KG)

Team members take turns (in order) to complete The Circuit as many times as possible in 30 minutes

2-The Erg
Max Distance on SkiErg

While one team member completes The Circuit, the remaining team members take turns working to get maximum distance on the SkiErg in 30 minutes

Scoring
Final Score = Total circuit reps* + Total cumulative distance on SkiErg

*One completed circuit = 200 + 20 + 20 = 240 reps

    Women’s
    Mixed (2M+2F)

    Compete in Teams of 4
    Age Categories: 18-39, 40 & Above (average age of all team members will be calculated to determine age category)

  • Run
    - Athletes run on an AirRunner.

    Alternating Front Lunges
    - Athletes start in a standing position, takes a step forward with one leg until the trailing knee touches the floor, and then stands back up.
    - A rep is complete when athletes are back in the standing position (left, right = 2 reps)

    Wall Balls
    - Athletes start holding the ball in a standing position, then squats (while holding the ball with both hands) and throws the ball (with both hands) to the target while standing up. This is counted as one rep.
    - After the ball touches or goes beyond the target line, the athlete catches the ball and initiates the movement again.
    - At the bottom position of the squat, the athlete’s hips must descend lower than his/her knees (below 90 degrees).
    - Target height: 2.7m (women), 3m (men)

    Ski
    - Athletes ski on a SkiErg
    - Damper settings may be adjusted as many times as needed.

    Scaled Movements
    In the event that at least one team member cannot do a movement according to the movement standards (due to mobility issues or past injuries, etc), the team will be moved to the scaled division of their leaderboard. Normal scores will ne placed higher than scaled scores on the leaderboard.

    • Free for members with currently active memberships only.

    • 1 team can consist of members and non-members.

    • Participants can participate in as many teams as they want. However, only the first registration is free for members.

  • The HYROX Circuit Challenge will be held at the Peak Club Pop-Up area at the BIBD Mega Karnival, BRIDEX Hall 1, Jerudong.

    As this challenge will be held at a family-oriented event, please dress appropriately.
